November begins with quite a bit of impressing content to look forward to including the release of Apple TV + and Disney +. Today, I’m focusing on what’s new to Netflix this month because they’re launching a lot of exciting content. They’re launching some real Oscar contenders with The King and The Irishman, both premiering on the platform very soon. (Marriage Story will also be a significant contender for the platform, but won’t be available to stream until December.) There’s also The Crown. It’s been two years since the prestige drama has had any new episodes, and fans are so ready to see what happens next. With Oscar winner Olivia Colman now playing Queen Elizabeth, this is sure to be a great season.
Beyond the Oscar and Golden Globe potential, we have to think about the holidays! It’s November, which means it’s basically time to start celebrating Christmas. Netflix has us covered. They are releasing plenty of original movies to keep us entertained all throughout the holiday season. Let’s take a look at what we can look forward to on Netflix in November.

The CrownI’m so excited for this new season of The Crown! Olivia Colman just took home an Oscar for playing royalty. Tobias Menzies looks way more like Prince Philip than Matt Smith, and Helena Bonham Carter is going to be such a great Princess Margaret. Everything from the sets, costume design and the cinematography looks stunning!
Iliza: Unveiled
Lorena, la de pies ligeros
The Knight Before ChristmasStarring: Vanessa Hudgens, Josh Whitehouse, Isabelle FrancaI can’t find a full preview for this movie because I’m sure Netflix is trying to keep all of the significant twists a secret! Good job, Netflix. There is no doubt this is the Netflix Original Christmas movie that I’m most excited to see. A medieval knight is transported in time to the present day, where he falls in love with a science teacher. Thus the title, the KNIGHT Before Christmas. Wow, that’s good stuff.

Dirty John: Season 1
True: Winter Wishes
The IrishmanStarring: Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci, Al PacinoSecuring a Martin Scorsese film to stream exclusively on Netflix is a massive win for the platform. The viewership total alone is going to be major. Not to mention, the film will be free to campaign with Netflix all throughout awards season. Am I saying The Irishman has a better plot than The Knight Before Christmas? Well, that’s a tough call. I’ve already expressed my adoration for the whole, “Knight travels in time to meet Vanessa Hudgens” scenario. However, I think Martin Scorsese has a bit more of an exciting subject matter going with this one. The film follows Frank Sheeran, a World War II veteran who gets involved in organized crime, joining the ranks to work for Jimmy Hoffa eventually.
Holiday Rush

Merry Happy Whatever
