Yep, it’s still January. The longest month of the year continues. One way to escape the January blues is to go see a movie. Sure, January may be a bit of a slow movie month, but this weekend there’s are a few options headed to a theater near you. So the question is, what are you going to watch?

The Gentlemen
Starring: Matthew McConaughey, Charlie Hunnam, Henry Goulding, Michelle Dockery
Following the success of Aladdin, director Guy Ritchie’s latest film is going in a much different direction than the family-friendly Disney film with The Gentleman. It follows the story of a drug lord who tries to sell his empire to a dynasty of Oklahoma billionaires. This cast is full of stars including Matthew McConaughey, Hugh Grant, Charlie Hunnam, Jeremy Strong, Colin Farrell, and Michelle Dockery.

The Turning
Starring: McKenzie Davis, Finn Wolfhard, Brooklyn Prince
If there’s one thing horror movies love, it’s creepy kids in an old house. The Turning is keeping the tradition alive with two creepy children terrorizing their babysitter in an old house. Also, there’s some kind of weird supernatural element too. You’ll have to find out for yourself because I’m not going to see this.
