The Devil All The Time Review

September 19, 2020

There are some intriguing ideas presented in The Devil All The Time. Unfortunately, the film bit off more than it could chew due to its staggering number of plotlines. While the film boasts an impressive cast, this is like watching a depressing slog of awful events.

Tenet Review: Timing is Everything

September 10, 2020

Much like Inception, Tenet is a film that takes time to process. I need to see it again at home (with subtitles) to pick up on everything that happened. August 28, 2020

Bill & Ted Face The Music genuinely surprised me with its heart, humor, and fun. Sure, this is a silly comedy in true Bill & Ted fashion, but it works surprisingly well to give the audience a totally fun time!

Chemical Hearts Review: Riverdale Romance

August 27, 2020

Chemical Hearts is a movie that feels like something that wants to be “deep” for the sake of being deep. Unfortunately, it never reaches its full potential. It falls flat somewhere between the poetry readings and indie music soundtrack and falls into soap opera territory.

The Kissing Booth 2 Review: Harvard Calling

August 10, 2020

The Kissing Booth 2 is a cliche and cheesy romance movie. It gets way too complicated with too many plot lines and characters thrown in for a premise that could be much more simplified. However, if you want some mindless entertainment that’s sure to make you laugh due to its ridiculous script, you may want to give it a shot!

The Rental Review: Vacation Gone Wrong

July 28, 2020

Despite some interesting characterization, The Rental lacks a cohesive storyline. It tries to blend two very different genres with bizarre results. Although I’m a fan of Dave Franco, I would pass on this rental.

There’s nothing cinematically groundbreaking in Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga. Despite that, its goofy satire with fun musical sequences that make for an entertaining escape from the chaos of 2020.
