My name is Rebecca Daniel. Thank you for visiting my website! Here on Show Me The Movies you’ll find a collection of film reviews, award season coverage, and information on what’s coming to theaters each week! I know what you’re thinking… why listen to what I have to say about film? Do I have any knowledge on the subject? Great question! Yes, I do.

I studied film with UCLA’s online program which led to my independent producing certificate! In 2018, I made my first short film called Movie Impassable. It was a great experience that confirmed I would love to eventually write screenplays/direct more in the future.
I currently freelance for a few film websites. I’m also a member of the Atlanta Film Critics Circle and Online Association of Female Film Critics.

I have always had a deep love for the cinematic arts. This started around the time my mom showed me The Sound of Music for the first time at age 2 and I made her keep that on loop all day, everyday. As I got older, I realized I didn’t just watch movies for fun or to pass the time, but as a possible career for myself.
